What's your goal in life?
Discussion
I guess it's all relative depending on your stage of life....
At age 5, success is not pissing your pants
At 12, it's having friends
At 18, it's having sex
At 25 it's having a wife and good job
At 35, it's having a wife, good job, house and kids.
At 50, it's having a wife, good job and access to the kids
At 60, it's having a wife and a job.
At 70 it's having sex
At 80 it's having friends
At 85 it's not pissing your pants.
Sun rise.... sun sets....

Serious answer – I used to get very hung up on not really having any proper drive to 'be successful', or make something of my life. My younger brother is the complete opposite and very career driven, he's doing very well for himself and I'm extremely proud.
It's just not for me I don't think. I'm quite happy enjoying the day-to-day, and the little things. I have bucket list experiences etc, but no real goals as such, I'm too spontaneous for that
I then read Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari and it really helped me feel comfortable with where I am for some reason. Comfortable just enjoying what life has to offer and not getting hung up or drawn in to this over productive world we live in today. Made me realise I'd be quite happy with everything I've enjoyed in life so far if my time was to be up tomorrow.
I know that goals can be non-career driven but it's the first thing I often hear when it comes to 'life-goals'.
Wow, didn't expect to get quite so deep on a Monday.
