I spent the whole of yesterday driving from Central London to North London, to South London, to West London and back to Central London almost non-stop. Basically it was heavy town driving all the way. The Tam was fantastic. Not a cough nor a splutter. Very comfortable. This car, in my opinion is an excellent every-day car - as well as a super weekend blaster! Big Smile factor - even in traffic. What a car!

(But I did notice the revs, for some reason, idle lower when the air condition is on in traffic - anyone know why?)

The engine ticks over slower as it also running the aircon, ie its draining some power!

The speed 6 is so tractable at low revs it does make for easy town driving.

However, the turning circle is so bad I find myself often having to attempt sharp London corners twice!

Also, if you've got the roof down and huge vents of steam start spouting from the engine everytime you come to traffic lights, it can be a tad embarrassing!

I had that, it was the heat exchanger that was leaking, not good news!
