Hi...

Fuel lines are a new one to me, so bare with.

I want to replace about 1ft of fuel line from the copper hard pipe to the barb fitting on my fuel rail with ptfe coated braided lines as the line there currently is starting to perish.

Beleive I need dash 6 lines, but stuck on which an connectors I need for both ends?

Car is a mk2 Renaultsport Megane if it helps at all...

Cheers,
Ben

If you're replacing hose which connects to hose barbs then you just need the right size and grade of hose. Fittings don't come into it.

I believe there are an fuel fittings that ‘clip’ onto barbs, but not sure what I’m looking for.

Having had the fuel system upgraded, i’d like something more secure than a push on fuel line with a jubilee/fuel clip holding the line on.

Car is tracked, so last thing I want is the fuel line popping off under pressure!

Why do you think that is an issue? It is a perfectly normal way to attach a hose to a spigot. As long as there is a barb on the spigot and the hose is the right size, it's never blowing off.

Noticed and mentioned by my mapper that the fuel hose mounting to the rail was inadequate for the application..

It was visibly insecure, so we changed to a different style of jubilee clip but as the barbs on the fuel rail are small, there isnt enough of a ‘lip’ to ensure a tight seal/connection.

Sounds as if you've found a better solution, but if you're using worm drive clips these don't tend to work well on small diameter hoses. Spring clips or T-bolt clips usually work better.
