M51 to M57D30 engine swap - e34

Good morning everybody

Seriously considering a swap from my endtuning M51 that I've loved for the past year to an M57D30/TU

As anybody here done one of these? Any info? Pointers?

One mechanic I talked about this tells me that apart from the engine mounts and different carter placement it's pretty straightforward and the performance potencial is.. interesting! (Plus Enda from endtuning does some great remaps that can take it even further)

Any info, as always, is greatly appreciated

I’ve not seen such a swop but anything’s possible!

I think the original gearbox would probably fit. Maybe look around and see if any Range Rover owners have done the swop for tips.
