SL350 Boot Key Problem

have 03 sl350
unable to turn boot key
the key position is horizontal. can anyone help

Yes definitely don’t use WD40
It’s not lubricant

Soak the key and lock in a decent penetrating fluid/lubricant, not WD40 as mentioned above. I use 3 in 1 silicon spray on mine.

Place it in the lock and "gently" turn it till it won't go any more. Repeat this the other way. Go for a brew. Come back and carry on repeating this exercise, which may take many tries and lots of tea/coffee.

It will eventually move but don't force it or you'll just break something.
