wheels off and wheel arch out will give you the easiest access. That's what I did when I had an E90 and changed the halo ring bulbs to LEDs.

The bulb has two screws holding it in and a block connector for the wires. It should be pretty easy? Unless you've got the Xeon lights?

not changing the ring bulbs matey, bought 2 whole units brand new but the halo rings need to be wired to the sidelights. Those sidelights went through the main wiring loom and large square connector

thought there would be an easy way to do it but am guessing not

But surely the angel eyes you are fitting will be installed inside the headlight so u will be taking the headlight apart? Therefore I can trace the internal wires?

If ur connecting to the wires on the multi plug connector on the back of the headlight tho then you can check with pin gets 12v feed when sidelights are switched on.

the angels are all sealed but in the instructions it says the halos need to be connected to the side lights and at the bottom of the unit there is 6 wires, 3 red and 3 black but obvs the old sidelights ran through the big block with all the others......am wondering if i can wire them to the fog lights

excuse my ignorance
