While at uni I once took a temp summer holiday job in Cornwall packing fudge (yep, really). I now refer to it a confectionery technician.

Everyday is a school day. I always thought a fudge packer was something completely different. smile

I went for an interview at a local Shell garage, it was basically for washing the fuel pumps and keeping the fore court clear.

Before the interview they emailed me and told me I was going to be interviewed for the position of Customer Service Champion instead.

Went to the interview and asked them what it was - 'ensuring the shelfs are stacked'.

Found out I was over qualified.

Many years ago I held the title of Media Distribution Officer, or Paper boy as its commonly known.
Following on from this I held the position of Head of Equine Hygiene Management - shovel provided.
My proudest moment though was reaching the dizzy heights associated with the role of International Customer Integration and Optimization Strategist.
(I sat in my high-rise office doodling violent images....for eight hours a day.)
Nice suits and business cards though....

In web1.0 days of the 90s, I was janitor/jack-of-all-trades at several startups,
on my cards it read as "technical specialist", "facility operator" and so on.
I always wanted "Hit Man" or "Company Negroid" but that was not accepted.

A plasterer mate of mine called himself an interior levelling technician whenever a young lady would ask him what he did for work.

As an OT aside, another mate used to tell a girl he was worth a bit, as his dad invented the “sleeping policeman”
