Scissor lift ramps

I’ve treated myself to a scissor lift for my garage; however virtually none of my cars have the clearance to fit over the top of it!

I’m after some rubber/plastic/other ramps to put either side of the lift to give the necessary clearance-can anyone recommend anything?

Wood is ideal for the job, cheap and available in any size you could ask for.

Had same problem with mine. Bought some 3×2 lengths of wood and some chipboard and made a pair of long wooden sloped ramps that can be stored out of the way when not needed.

I used this setup for years, (first picture) but last year I sunk mine into the floor... quite a big job but so much easier to move my cars and importantly my bikes around...
