Questions to ask before a respray

Quite a bit of stress cracking + fading

This car is a keeper and want to get a proper job done. I would therefore appreciate any advice, distance not an issue

I used ewleme coachworks, there were no stresscracks in my car but I changed the colour and you could never tell, talk to jon or paul they advertise on here.

Also had a full spray at Ewelme, very good.

Ewelme do all the paintwork on my race car - the finish is always superb. They are specialists in dealing with composite bodywork and I can highly recommend them.

Do you want to keep it Kevlar? If so probably best to talk to The Factory or Tim at ACT if they'll help. The very least that I would use is 280 grade woven matting in order to keep the weight down and maintain the appearance. www.specialisedpaintwork.co.uk/ from www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=179770&f=7&h=0 looked good.

What sort of cost was a full re-spray for you guys?
My Chims paintwork is a little scratched and chipped, along with having had a poor front and back end re-spray and hence has left the doors darker than the wings.
Ideally I'd like to keep the same colour but am just after some real world prices from people who have both had this done and also had a whole new colour.

Ewelme are not the cheapest bodyshop in the world, but they know their composites and do a bloody good job.
