Settling finance

I’ll try keep this short and not long winded!

I picked up my new car from SEAT on 02/03 which was a Saturday also trading my Audi in which I sent them settlement amounts previously before, being a Saturday they said my finance would be paid mon/tue and it takes 3-5 working days for them to receive it (Barclays partner finance) my payment for the Audi came out on the 06/03 so once my finance is settled that would be refunded, it’s now the 14/03 and they still haven’t received any payment (Barclays) and my payment is due to come out again in a phew weeks time. The last settlement amount which I gave them expires on the 27/03 which means if it’s not been cleared what will happen to my £350 payment that I paid after the Audi was traded in and will I have to make another 350 payment if it’s not paid before my next payment comes out!! I rang the dealer (SEAT) which said they have DEFINITELY sent the money across, how long does this normally take as I’m sick of chasing my own money

Trying ringing who you have finance on the Audi with?
Try and get confirmation Seat sent the money.

It takes longer than 8 days for your money to be returned, IME 2-3 weeks is the norm.

You can of course, as suggested above, call Barclays and ask them. They will likely have had payment but won't return your overpayment until this has been processed.
