Im looking for a small tank bag for a KTM 640 adventure. I only want a small bag for carrying phone and wallet etc. Ive seen this wolkman bag, but dont really want to spend £125 but if thats all thats available, well so be it.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/153267708108?chn=ps&u...

Ive seen a lot of cheap small bags for bicycle which would do the job for under £30. Just wondering if anyone uses something like that.

Requirements are, the tank is plastic so no magnets. It needs to be easy access with gloves on so its easy to remove and put back a card at tolls etc. It needs to be easily removable, and have some sort of strap for when not on the bike. Any ideas?.

I've got a givi tank bag, cost me around £30 and will fit more than what you need (mines a magnetic one, but I'm sure they do other types)

I want to replace mine with a Tanklock bag

Small is quite important. The wolfman bag above is only 6L. Givi do an enduro bag but it's 25L. It will get in the way too much when riding.

If you want cheap then keep an eye out for Lidl doing £20 ones, other than that there doesn't tend to be a lot for under £100.

For a small bag the Givi or SW-Motech ones that go on a tank ring are really sturdy.

I hadn't thought about the kreiga bags. What are they like for ease of access?

I see SW motech do a enduro lite bag for about £70. Anyone with any experience of there tank bag?

I've got the 5 and 10 Kriga ones - there's a zip pocket you can access fairly easily depending how bulky your gloves are, for paying for petrol etc. Good quality bags and have been out in torrential rain and never let water in. For the 5 I also used keyring loops (those metal loopy bits) to attach a shoulder strap so I can carry it off the bike, as otherwise it's a bit awkward.

Kriega are awesome bags, but fiddly access. A small down side for decent looking kit, 100% waterproofness and modular fitment.

I've a fair few bits of their kit and would struggle to justify shoppong elsewhere i think.

You'll get loads of small bags with a tank lock fitting, here's an example:

The tank catch is different on the KTM so they don't fit.

I need to go have a look at the kreiga bags I think. They look a good product, but not sure about the poor access.

I have a plastic tank. It's also an odd shape in that the tank is not flat at the top.

I did not expect that! Would you be better off with a tail pack?

If your tank's not magnetic and you cant fit a tank ring, the only other option really is a Baglux/Bagster/Topsellerie tank cover and clip on bag, or Kriega do a more minimalistic tank harness that you clip a bag to.

Or a tail pack if you're not carrying a pillion.
