997 GT3 buckets - Nomex cover

The nomex on the driver's bucket seat has worn through where the right arm goes and you slide over it getting in and out. Just a small hole at the moment.
Is this a job for an upholsterer or can you get replacement covers and do a DIY job?
Mind you, I have some nomex thread for replacing zips in race suits, I could get Mrs Bert to darn it in situ!
