Anyone take turmeric for arthritis?
Discussion
I use it for neuropathy and osteoporosis, last time I had a blood test they thought I was taking blood thinners and my gums are a little sore, it’s difficult to know for sure if those are side effects of the turmeric as I take other bits and pieces.
I use the oral spray as it seems more effective, but can cause staining.

I have mild Arthritis in my right knee (Had an arthroscopy ten years ago), doctor a few months ago said it may be worth a try, so I bought a tub of 240 "Nutri-Ark" Organic Turmeric/Black pepper tablets for around £18.
I can't say I have noticed much difference tbh, but to be fair, I keep forgetting to take one and haven't had one for ten days...lol!
I've just taken one now, so I will try to get back on track

I take the following for to aid general 'old achy painful joints':

https://betteryou.com/turmeric-oral-spray
https://smartercurcumin.com/
bit of a scattergun approach I'll admit. I find in high doses the first on the list does seem to help east pain (with me, its mainly my knees and back that are the problem).
The second 2, I've only started taking in the last couple of weeks. I wanted to beef up my approach to inflammatories to combat the pain I am suffering as a result of a current running injury - so can't tell yet if they're working or better than 1.
I've not experienced any side effects.

I think ginger is an anti inflammatory as well. But, like Turmeric, can cause gastric problems, from increased bile production (I believe).
I take Bromelain, which is an enzyme derived from the husk and core of pineapple. I take 3 a day on average. It's not a cure-all but I notice it if I stop taking and there have been no side effects
