Renault Megane RS 300 Trophy, any good?

I’m currently looking at a new car and am quite impressed by the Renault Megane RS 300 Trophy. I’ll be going to test drive one at some point in the next couple of weeks, but thought it was worth asking if any of you had an experience with it?

I’m looking for something that is fun, fairly practical and something I can take on the track a few times a year. So the RS ticks all the boxes on paper!

Is it a good drive? Or should I be focusing my attention elsewhere?

There a thread on the French Bred sub forum about the 280/300 - it's worth having a look there but the short version of it is that the dealers have only had their demo cars in for just over a week or two so nobody has any real experience of a trophy

Reviews suggest the car is ok, but nothing special. Certainly not as sorted as previous RS Megans.

Have you tried an i30N? It's a very good car & would also serve as a good benchmark when you test drive the RS300.
