Look for the white lines painted on the roads like with normal speed cameras.

There are alternative methods of providing secondary checks.

Useful posting as I have always assumed red light cameras don't record speedsters. As the risk is not worth the time saved will now assume they do.

Google Redspeed & 'Speed on Green', for example.

From what I can remember, traffic cameras that are yellow are "Speed on Green" types, the other cameras that are just grey only operate on red lights.

Having slowed down at the lights and never run a red, I'm unable to confirm these though.

Oooops. Essex use red light and speed camera systems that don’t have ladder marks like other cameras.
