Disable 986 spoiler?

Hey guys,

I need to know how to disable the rear spoiler on a 2004 986 without triggering the dash warning light and spoiler failure warning that come up on the dash.

I have installed a fixed wing and removed the motorised spoiler.

Don't go above 75. When I had my 996 turbo, there were 2 microswitches, one to say it was down and one to say it was up. I know they sold a harness to short it out in case you had a fixed spoiler, with many of the 986 and 996 parts being shared it might be the same. Your local opc might know. If you can find all the parts diagrams you can check the number (sorry I can't remember where I got them from, but you could basically build a car from them).

There should be a wiring harness available from your dealer parts department as number of Aero kits were fitted by dealer post delivery.
