Charging point any good ideas ?

Looking for ideas for plug and play charging point currently have connection to battery and just shut lead in between door and then into garage

Car lives outside but in front of garage door (won’t fit in garage lol...) and I want to just plug in my battery charger to somewhere on car without using cigar lighter or lead into car I.e in front grille etc

Just wondered if someone had done this and how ?

This saves messing around can just pull up and connect job done !

Do I have to connect direct to battery or is there a feed in engine bay that will charge battery ?

You could connect direct onto the output from the alternator but it would take effort to route the cable neatly.
If you can get yourself under the car then connecting to the starter would be neater.

May be able to flush it into the grill somehow on an earlier car.
