Heated Clothing -

No, but I was commuting all year round with the sleeveless Keis vest and a Helly Hansen long sleeve thermal top, t shirt and textile jacket. I was plenty warm enough (with the caveat I also had heated grips and a heated seat).
The Keis stuff is good because you can run it from the bike or from it’s own battery pack and the heat is controllable, not just “on or off”. I barely used the highest setting, to be honest.

Yes, and its been brilliant, over a few winters, However I have read of wires breaking internally, so I guess it all comes down to how you look after it.
But all their heated clothing now has a lifetime warranty: LIFETIME warranty on all heating elements (For products purchased on or after September 2014)

I had a Gerbing sleeved heated inner liner which i returned and replaced with the keis sleeveless one.
The sleeves were just too restrictive if you use it along with a thermal liner in some textiles, and it was a ballache to get the sleeves down the jacket without bunching up.
I've just got the Keis heated armoured gloves at the weekend, waiting for some cables to arrive so i can test them out.

I've got the Keis long sleeved jacket and it's brilliant. Taken most of the "what shall I wear" "how cold is it" and dressing up like a Michelin woman away
Lovely and warm, I just always forget to unplug it when I get off the bike, but the connector pops off easily fortunately. I've got the gloves too, which plug into the ends of the jacket arms like mittens
I tried the Gerbing stuff at the bike show but found it quite bulky and stiff. Then tried the Keis and it's much more flexible and for me more comfortable and fitted better. It's even got a heated neck which is lovely!

Had Gerbing for years now and would recommend to anyone.
Not had the issues with sleeves that are mentioned above when worn with my Rukka jacket.
Same. Endured this winter starting at -5 leaving the garage and getting up to the heady highs of -1 in central London before dropping back down to -5 on arrival. Gerbing jacket and gloves combo worked a treat. Toasty warm hug.I just set the temperature and then connect or disconnect as I want. Not had the issues with sleeves that are mentioned above when worn with my Rukka jacket.
It also means you don't have to dress up like the Michelin Man to keep warm. A simple thermal long sleeved top , then the heated jacket and the Rukka jacket minus it's liner over the top.
Mine fits under my leathers - if you're looking at the Gerbing perhaps take a look at the Keis as it was much thinner and less bulky and stiff. Also good cuffs which stop the sleeves sliding up when you pull clothes on
And means you can attach gloves to it in the future if you want. I originally wanted the sleeveless one but I'm really glad I got the sleeves - no more faffing about with jumpers or anything, and having warm arms has made a surprising differene!

In two minds now! My Spidi leathers have the mesh vents in the arms, which get ruddy cold, hence my initial thoughts re the Keis sleeved version!
