My aunt's DOB is an estmated date. She doesn't have a birth cert.

The problem is, the date on her passport is different to the date recorded with the GP, hospitals etc. Previously, This hasn't caused any issues but I can imagine it easily can.

What's the best thing to do in terms of aligning the dates? Align to the passport or align to everything else?

Align to the passport. If you have power of attorney, write to passport office to confirm her dob and on reply use that to correct the others with evidence. I presume the passport office got their evidence from somewhere. Have you tried the General Register Office, or whatever it is called now?

Don’t worry about it.

My mother knocked off 7 years for the last 30 odd years of her life.

This included her doctors and her dob was wrong on hopital records etc.

He friends laughed at her funeral when they found her true age. Well done mum. Honestly no one is really bothered.
