Basic site hookup question.

Feel like this is a stupid question - would the following product (basically a four way extension socket with corresponding camp-site plug) be able to power four regular appliances? One scenario may be a laptop, 240v cooling fan and a 12v trickle charger for two leisure batteries.

It would, theoretically. But practically, you’d need to be parked less than 1.5m from the hookup post all the time!

Quite right. So I've located a similar product and chosen the 20m cord.

Definitely use this rather than the one you've linked to OP.

It may be more expensive but it's not a homemade one.

I have one of these from a camping trip a few years back. The cable was more than enough to charge our phone and cameras etc.
