london hotel reccommendation
Discussion
right - having exhausted google - I figure the PH Hive mind may be able to deliver.
Want to take the gorgeous *mrs tony off to a nice hotel for the bank holiday. catch is got to be in / around london, and main requirement is total luxury and a jaccuzzi in the room / suite. She's been a little angel recently and deserves to be thoroughly pampered as a suprise...
Anyone got any reccomendations?
* ok - it's not the same mrs tony who came on minihoon, but thats another story all together ok!

interesting options gents. claridges looks like an option if my wallett can take it!!
not wanting to widdle on anyones bonfire though, the specific requirement is room with jacuzzi in it - (basically mrs t is a water baby and would pop her cork at being able to sit in the bubbles whilst drinking champers).
Plus yours truly gets about 3000000 brownie points

tricky one Tony, I know all the top hotels, zetter, sanderson, K west, Blakes. However, havent found any that have tubs aside from lpaces like the dorchester which arent funky enough for me. Does it have to be London or would being within an hour of town be ok?
Otherwise, depending on when it is you can hire my house, we have a hot tub & it's pretty luxurious (IMHO!!!!)

Bad habit to get into though... think about it, what happens, if like the rest of us, you end up going to Le Mans every year for the rest of your life... you don't want to set a precedent that you have to take her away every year just to get Le Mans clearance!!!

Within an hour is fine (thats a large radius in an spiritedly driven 3200 though!!)..
V generous on the house front mate, but not sure I could afford oil baron rates

Thats not the problem - it's persuading her _not_ to come to le mans thats the issue - my co-driver dropped out on me this week and I'm trying to fill the seat and she's dropping hints! Not that I mind taking her but as you know I'm a fanny magnet at le mans and I don't want to her to get upset

Ahh, now, if outside London is an option.
Oakley Court in Windsor and book a table at the The Fat Duck in Bray (just up the road) which is officially THE best restaurant in the WORLD!
Or combine a nice hotel and good food at Le Manior Aux Quatre Season in Oxfordshire, which is, proper bo like!

Sorry, resume thread hi_jack...
I'd suggest you bring her to next Thursday's pre Le Mans drinks.... that should remove any desire from her to want to join "20-odd" obnoxious, chauvinistic, p!ssed blokes! ...you may also want to tell her that tour rules would obviously apply to her as well and that we share everything for that week-end (except cars of course!!)

Ok Tony, The new hotul du vin in Henley has a suite with a balcony overlooking the Thames & has a hot tub on it, about £175 a night matey.
ah-ha - bingo matey - thats exactly what I'm after, and a pretty decent price too
Tony996 - if you think I'm bringing my good lady to dirty dicks with you then you're even madder than I thought
