Just remember to vote "No" in Phoney Tony's constitution vote; assuming that it goes ahead once the French boot it into touch...

castrated .... well - that will put a stop to kittens then ...

But Bild/Bunte/Stern/radarfalle/ websites are equally emphatic in "NEIN" und the French are also annoyed about this on thread on Figaro's site.

But then - if French und Dutch referenda vote no... to current EU daftness...

European Unions energy commissioner said:
If in Germany cars are speeding at 200kph (124mph) they are using too much petrol,
I'm sure the amount the Germans consume doesn't come close to what the Americans consume. Why should we have to bend over backwards if the USA doesn't give a stuff? Our contribution is relatively insignificant, so what difference will this proposed policy make?

More flannel from Brussels - it'll never happen.

Am I dreaming or has the Danish speed limit gone from 110 kph to 130 kph and deaths went down ?

Italy now at 150 kph for some mways.

Hmmmm,
I remembering posting this in the 'Motoring News' forum on April 13th.
Nobody seemed to have picked up on it.

So let this be a lesson for PHers: The European Parliament is dominated by lentilists because nobody except the lentilists gives a crap about it. So surprize surprize when we get things like this. It's not Europe's fault before the Killroyish posts start flooding in.
