I spent a long time searching a while ago and the only other place apart from above I found that wasn't extortionate (still £30) was here:

I used one of the three suppliers in my bookmarks for a rear back-lit plate. Two of them have been already mentioned so here is another.

Which one I used escapes me, plate was good though,

I struggled to find the TVR option with them in the drop down menu, and it isn't there.
But if you select 'show' plates, you can specify a honeycombe plate. They suggest it is for off road use only, which is incorrect. They are permissible on cars registered before Sept 2001.
£13.50 with a border is very reasonable though, Shame its £7.05 delivery.
Too big for a 'small' parcel with Royal Mail unfortunately.

Slightly off topic but does anyone use a stick on front plate similar to this

I know they are not legal but has anyone used one and did you get any grief.
It's not as if you are trying to conceal anything.
Sorry about the late response, just browsing the Chim section with a touch of nostalgia (half hearted idea about coming back!)

I had a stick on plate for a while on my old Chim - never had an issue with the police.

The latter is cheaper.
