So I'm potentially looking at investing in a gaming seat, TV, steering wheel, console and game to run a leaderboard/competitions at PistonHeads events. I'm a bit out of my depth here, so am looking for some advice! No specific budget in mind just yet, just fact finding. Lets say £2,500 but obviously not adverse to spending less.

I've always been aware of Playseat and like the look of this: https://www.playseatstore.co.uk/playseat-sensation...

Does anyone else have any recommendations? And any game of preference to race on at a Sunday Service or similar? Essentially we want something that'll be fairly quick and straight forward to set up, so I'm thinking along the lines of a PS4 with Gran Turismo, that can just be plugged into a TV and steering wheel kit.

Your choices are Forza 7 and Gran Turismo but if you want UK tracks to appeal to a PH audience the Project Cars 2 has the biggest selection of uk tracks.
They all drive well play wise but you have to ask yourself what elements of the games are important to what you want to do during the event.
I would try and play each of them rather than go in blind just telling people what you want.

Oh an Fanatec is quality equipment. Super GT on YouTube did a recent in depth real world review of their stuff.

The above seat is really good, for games I’d go for Assetto Corsa and Dirt 2.0 on PS4 Pro.

That's really helpful, thanks both! Project Cars 2 is a great shout, given that we'll be setting this up at our UK track events. Great opportunity for people to drive the circuit on the game when they're not taking a car out on track.

Pricing on the rseat's is decent too and the modularity is perfect as we need something that'll be fairly easy to assemble/disassemble for each event.
