Personal opinion but I hate sleeved exhaust. too loud and not a nice sound...too harsh.

Cherry bomb is really sweet and mellow sound. If someone has one I very much doubt they would want to sell.

Why not make your own, there are cherry bombs on eBay for £30-40 .
Open the box and weld them in place of the perf pipe.
I’ve done it before and it works really well.

Like this idea. I'll have a look and definitely consider this

Something like this should do. Check the measurements though. You can fit them inside the back box, replace the wadding and weld it up. Sounds pretty good

How much good welding is needed on the cherry bomb mod if you cut the centre box open?

Not too much. The cherry bombs can but welded at the top only then it’s replace wadding and seal the box.
It took me about half an hour.

I'm just converting my sleeved exhaust back to standard and is due to be done maybe next week.
I still have all cats in mine but this is what it sounds like. Meaning I've got myself a standard second hand exhaust and will have mine to sell on or keep.

There's other videos on there.

That sounds great. So the sleeved exhaust on yours at the moment, would you consider selling it?

It does sound great and I'm sure at times I'm going to miss the sound but just thinking it's time for a change.
I was thinking of keeping it as a reserve or maybe pass it on if I sell the car but seems as good as time as any just to move it on so yes I would consider selling.
I'm heading out now going to a car meeting so won't be online for a bit,I'm Midlands based and my exhaust change over is being done Hockley Heath area not far away from Solihull. PM me your phone details and we can have a chat. thumbup

Sorry to jump on to this but I also am looking for an exhaust to convert to cherry bombs, I posted a wanted request some time ago with no luck. If anyone has either a standard exhaust to convert or one already converted, or even one that has been sleeved and I can adjust that, thanks in advance

I have a standard 400 surplus to requirements that I offered last time someone was looking but being on the south coast made it less palatable so it had not takers.
