The wipers and the washers on the Cerbera have been the bane of my local MOT station's life as they are always complaining that they are not good enough to pass the MOT etc. etc. etc.

So after trying pretty much everything out there (Levin, etc.) I think I've finally got a decent working solution.

1. Wiper blades

2 x 14" (not 16" and 14" as they are by default) to give the wiper motor as much chance of moving them as possible, and using silicon injected blades like the ones from PIAA (which are the ones I used from Daemon Tweaks) to treat the windscreen with a slippy base coat enabled the blades to glide over it

2. Washer jets

No random pipes with holes in, or super glued on bits of plastic from eBay, but CarBuilderSolutions sells these nifty 3 jet clip on for wiper arm mounting that are flat, and using a needle you can position the three jets to point which ever way you like

I put them facing inwards towards the windscreen, trailing the arm, as the pipe for the water then doesn't need to loop back and cause any drag

And the result?

Here's a video - honestly the best I've seen them work in the many years I've owned the car so definitely worth doing smile

I loved the "daaaa" at the end, it made me laugh out loud laugh

The kind of an ironic noise one makes after solving something every other car in the world has done without issue since the 1970's, wiping the screen!

Good work, apparently the the TVR Parts wiper motor upgrade is a fantastic improvement too, a cherry on your TVR wiper cake if you like.

At £200 after VAT and delivery its expensive, but I hear it makes a massive improvement yes

A coat of rain-X just prior to MoT time has helped me I think. And I advise that the engine needs to be running on mine. Under battery only on a dry screen, they struggle.

Other suppliers are available. smile

However it doesn't fit a Cerbera, at least it didn't fit mine. It had to be sent back, it was too tall. I had mine rebuilt instead and it's perfect now, works just like a modern car.

That Vid looks like a beautifully engineered solution
BUT
If you get the Leven arms then the passenger's wipers will park parallel. thumbup

The wipers seemed to stall at the start of their final sweep, perhaps when switched to park
