Now some folk reckon you've got to be pretty brave (or foolish dependent upon who you talk to) to climb into a rally car and do the co-drivers job. BUT THAT'S NOTHING,
jeeeezussss!
What is it with women?, Do they enjoy the ritualistic humiliation that is asking for underwear for their birthday? aaargh!
You would have thought that being almost 40 years of age, and been married for 7 of those, I'd have got the hang of this by now, but I guess some people hate flying, others fear spiders, me, I can't walk into a lingerie shop without breaking out into a cold sweat and feeling dizzy.
What a wimp I am!

I find it uncomfortable (the shopping, not the underwear wearing ) even if just standing around whilst the wife is buying thingies, I feel that I need a loud hailer so that you can tell people
‘I am not a pervert. I am not looking at the pants’.

Actually, whilst their stuff is rather nice looking and very expensive, I'm not entirely sure of the quality. Nothing worse than a present that can't be used regularly
edited... is that the phrase I'm looking for?

You can go about your business!
A few hitches with using the web:
a) Time, today is her birthday.
b) Time, I only have a lunchhour to get the stuff.
c) Time, made the mistake of "asking" her what she wanted, hence the revenge for not finding something myself and, therefore, humiliation.
d) It think browsing for exotic lingerie from works net would definitely transgress the acceptable use policy.
e) My phone threw a fit when I tried searching for "lingerie and london" on Altavista.
f) I've run out of excuses!
