No, I asked a buddy who is a keen musician and really into all sorts of music and he couldn't identify it. I guess it could have been 'written' just for that?

It is just a snippet that accompanies an action in the application, but i am trying to find out if it is an extract from a longer piece. Pretty sure it isnt that Robert miles track but that is probably the right genre and time period.

I just played along to it and (if it's any help) I get the background chords to be F minor / Eb major / E7 / Ab major

Maybe there's a "tune finder" app out there that allows chord progressions to be plugged in?
