At one minute and forty-five seconds... I thought it was some kind of electrical discharge, but it's piling up on the floor... any ideas?

my guess is some sort of extrusion process, polymer or something?

Don't think it can be glass or metal as it looks to have touched the guy and he didn't appear to be too injured!

Yes I’d agree looks like a metal wire extrusion process where the timing of the rollovers has gone wrong. Looks very dangerous.

Looks like a molten tube of some sort, think it misses the guy and he must be turned the other way because he soon scarpers when he sees it
