So, I'm wanting to get the family car (black X5 40d MSport) looking good again. We've got minor damage on all 4 corners - scratches not dents - and the side skirts are looking a bit ropey. Luckily all the damage is to the bumpers and the body kit.

I reckon the job is - take bumpers, wheel arch trims, side skirts off, fill scratches and rub down, refit everything.

How much do you reckon? I'm thinking skilled blokes on an industrial estate, not BMW dealer!

I'd guess nearer £600, based on a not dissimilar overhaul we did on S's old Rav4 4 years ago.

Without seeing it, I would estimate around £500+VAT for that kind of repair, so the £600 above would be correct.
