Young guy tempted by a Morgan

Hi! I've been tempted by a morgan for a while, mostly plus 4 but now the plus 6 has been announced, and with optional hard top - it's a real tempter!

I'd be using the car as a daily, but would need to finance it (part of the Mog attraction - low depreciation)

So, my question to you fine folks is, how do you finance your mog? any examples for plus 4's? How do you folks see the plus 6 performing with depreciation etc, as good as a plus 4?

Have you driven one? The +4 would be a culture shock for somebody used to driving modern cars, I suspect the +6 will be a belter if they have got the suspension sorted (I've got an Aero and it's much to stiff for the road). The 6 is certainly where my money would go.

What is your finance limit?
That will govern which car you can afford.
Plus6 is about £80k with Aero type chassis and independant suspension.
New Plus4 £50k+ with traditional ladder chassis, rear leaf springs and solid axle, sliding pillar front suspension.
Totally different cars!

I’m a young guy too and drove the plus six around the Malvern Hills earlier this week. Great car, rapid and handling was surprisingly good. I’d also be interested in hearing about finance deals and how people typically buy their Morgans.

Not sure if they are an everyday car really unless you go for a removable hard top.

Loved mine with the roof down but roof up was like riding in a tent and fitting the doors each time was a bit cumbersome - and a little claustrophobic.

May be just me though....
