We're all losing it in here!

We have people who have had issues with their cars which means ALL MCLARENS ARE COMPLETELY TERRIBLE!!

We also have people who haven't had any issues with their car which means ALL MCLARENS ARE COMPLETELY PERFECT!!

We're all losing 50 grand a week and a 720S will be 48 pound and 44 pee by the summer.

Apparently a 570 Spider is now a hairdresser's car!

And my absolute favourite one:
For years we've all been moaning that the lack of an independent network was causing our cars to hemorrhage money and this was all part of McLarens evil plan to boost depreciation.
Then as soon as a couple of independents entered the market the very first post on here was 'Will taking my car to an independent cause more depreciation'!

I've had a few nags myself what with one thing and another but in the end you're a long time dead.
I've just had 4 days of an horrendous puking and crapping bug and now that I'm back to work and feeling this lovely early morning seep into my aching bones I'm remembering that life could really be a whole lot worse.

It's a cliché certainly but get out and drive 'em!
Savour every nice day you can cos none of us know what's up ahead and being a Supercar owner is really not such a bad thing.

I'm currently planning my summer trip around Europe this week and hope that everybody here enjoys their cars as much as they can.

Christ in another 10 years we won't even be allowed to drive the bloody things!

I've said on here many times that if deprecation keeps you awake at night you should have left the money in the bank. It's a toy for pleasure, it shouldn't be a cause for worry, buy a cheaper car that you can enjoy without losing sleep!

Had a hospital appointment today, normally go there in a work van because the car park is tight but the weather was too nice to resist. Got the roof down and took a few fast lanes on the way home, absolute thrash!

I love the gear ratios on this car, there's always the perfect cog to blast out of the bends in and the MSO howl really completes it. Couple of thousand miles on it now I'm having more fun with every drive.

I have been DD exotics (mostly Ferrari's), for 30 years, even an F40 in the '90s. The 570S makes even a drive to the shops, special.

I always have felt that I could die tomorrow, and I don't want my last drive to be in an old pickup truck because I didn't want to put miles on the exotics.

Besides, they work better when they get used.

Awesome pic.
The more I see pics of the Mclaren's and looking at the value the provide compared to the competition, the more tempted I am!!

If I can make one suggestion..... as long as you aren't putting yourself in financial jeopardy, buy one and enjoy it. Your only regret will be why you didn't do it sooner.

Darn .. well put. No matter your breed of car, just drive the thing. If I worried about how much each mile was costing me, it would never leave the garage (or be bought) and then I'd wish I had done it in 20 years when I am reduced to an electric scooter (modded of course). The sheer pleasure of now owning and driving one, the smile its put on my ugly face and the pleasure it brings to others seeing it is priceless.

All cars break down .. all have bits go wrong/fall off/wear out. Sadly, the lower production volume the car, the more likely this is as the manufacturer does not have tens of 1000's of components in the field to learn from. Don't care if you have a Lambo or a Lotus, same principle applies.
