Recommissioning a 993 - where to take?
Discussion
We have a 993 Turbo that has been laid up now for over 10 years as have been overseas and unable to use.
I find myself returning to the UK and as i work through the list of jobs that are needed to be done, i am now getting to the fun jobs.
Basically the car is a UK registered RHD 993 Turbo that has been stored in a basement garage of a Villa in Southern Portugal for over a decade. We had it pulled out (dusty as) and shipped back to the UK in anticipation, however as it has been sat so long we obviously have not cranked it or anything, just rolled it on and off a car carrier, on the plus side, no seized brakes.
So to the question - who / where is the best place to go to for recommissioning this porker ...
I am based in Bucks so that general area (Bucks / Berks / Herts / Oxon / Essex etc) would be preferred.
Assuming that without any issues the list will be fluids, hoses, gaskets, brake lines, brake pads and rotors, fuel lines and a bloody good wash.
So, who should i be talking to?

Fearnsport at Silverstone or RPM in Long Marston would be good choices, alternatively Jaz in St Albans are highly regarded with air cooled Porsches
I’d say this is good advice as is the other mention of Autofarm. Don’t think you need to go any further afield than one of those as they’re all quite local to you. One more to try could be JZM in King Langley, there about half an hour from RPMZAnd please keep us updated!

You could had shipped to sportclasse in lisbon, literally all they do is fix rusted barn find Air cooled Porsches. Restoration is a very labour (hour intensive) project and Portugal is not known for expensive hourly rates.
