Blackspot's Road Angel Camera database is widely known as one of the better, more up to date ones. They put a lot of effort into its upkeep.
A lot of the DS2 sites have not been officially logged or recorded as fixed or mobile camera sites or accident blackspot's as they were installed, mostly, by unaccountable councils.
The DS2 technology was popular some years ago and is now virtually obsolete. They were introduced before the “Explosion” of camera sites and were often only installed at the behest of the local councils who wanted to erect speed camera warning signs but they could only do that if they had cameras, or the road strip part.
How do I know? Well near my home, and also in East Yorkshire, about 1996 a lot of these sprung up. I’ve never seen any of them used. Last year I saw an operative digging some up to re-lay the verge. I rang the council and spoke to a nice man who said they wanted to have signs, they couldn’t have ‘em unless they installed the measuring equipment, they asked the police which system to use. By the time they were installed the police had got new equipment and they might never be used now as they were obsolete.
He agreed they were a complete waste of money, my money!!
Keep your Road Angel up to date, at least monthly, if not weekly, use it to increase your awareness of how fast you are travelling and let it warn you of impending danger, you’ll grow to love and cherish it.

I think there is an option in the software to include DS2 and 'blackspots'.
I have deleted the DS2 strips I pass everyday from my RA, as they are very rarely used, and just annoying me to get a warning about something that is not there.
I do not know if there is a way to get back the ones you delete though.
