1 series timing chain problems

Was considering a 120d, probably late15 to early 17 plate but hear stories of snapped timing chain issues on both the petrol and diesel engines from that period. Certainly have been aware of a couple of minis which I guess share the same lump having complete engine replacements. Is the problem now solved with a recall or is it still something to be concerned about ?

They'll be fine, the B47 diesel is a good unit.

The B47 went into Cars Sep 14 and it cured all the woes of the N47
