No point at all.
Ace isn't it?
This. Life shouldn't be taken seriously, it's a fluke of chance that we/I exist so make the most of it.Ace isn't it?

Doing stuff you don't want to should be very low down on the list of how to pass the time.

Life is pointless, but that doesn't have to equate to meaninglessness. You can attach your own meaning to your own life. Actually you don't have a choice to start with really; you do so as you grow up. After that it's more developing a meaning.
The fluke of chance of my and everyone living's existence I think of fairly often.
Our hominid and then human ancestors had to breed before they died in harsher and less understanding times, then their offspring had to do the same. Way before that our single-celled precursors 'decided' to evolve and to have a wander onto the beach as another creature, only the particular ones that managed to survive the ocean's maelstrom of death and destruction.
Following the nascent, adventurous amphibians exploring, our reptilian and then mammalian ancient cousins had to pass on the genetic mix of nomadic viruses, acids and assorted radicals without dying first as well. It really is a numerical and philosophical wonder that we're here right now.
Try to enjoy life, although it is the epitome of easier said than done.

As a child I decided that daytime/waking hours were not real life, but sleep/night-time/dreamtime was life. Daytime was just to sustain the body and get tired ready for another night of dreamtime fun. I was an odd kid...
