There are many questions.

WHY did I do this being primary.
WHY did I believe that getting it done and rebuilt to a good standard was remotely possible.
WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY RECEIPTS FOR SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICIANS WORKS WHEN A COLOURBLIND ONE ARMED THREE YEAR OLD COULD MAKE A TIDIER JOB OF IT
WHY does that go there?!
WHY doesn't that go there?!
WHY fibreglass frown
WHY OH WHY IS THE HEATER FAN THERE OF ALL PLACES FOR FECKS FECKING SAKE
WHY do I keep telling myself this is worth it?
WHY do I get the impression that my woes aren't even on the unusual spectrum by TVR owners standards....
WHY am I doing this now when I need to sell up ASAP to go racing!
WHY TVR? WHY is this the ownership experience I desired as a kid?

WHY can't I fall out of love with this car when all its done for the last 2 and a bit years is beat the living fk out of me ranting

biggrin Sounding like you've got mid life crisis setting in and you're only in your 20's.

I guess my answer WHY would be because I'm on my 4th TVR and they've all been really kind to me. Yes many expenses along the way to eliminate the foreseeable problems but my work gets done by the dealerships so I don't get to see this kind of stuff very often. You're a braver man than me Mike that's for sure and good luck with it.

Or foolish smile

Glad I never had to do anything like that to mine during ownership, you have my utmost sympathy and admiration.

I went though the WHY phase quite a few years ago. I gave up trying to answer the question and just bought more TVR's smile One thing for sure is that I'm never short of something to do now and never bored!

I'm wondering WHY myself....WHY didn't I just get the out riggers done.....why did I have the engine rebuild AND go for GEMS??

...I could be out in the sun now with an 'almost' as sorted car, but no...I had to go the whole hog! idea

Why do my bloody dogs arrive at the door 3 nano-seconds after I pick up the TVR keys, looking expectant and wanting me to take the Saab estate instead, so that they can go walkies?

My days of 75 mile pint-of-milk-shopping trips are well numbered

That's a serious strip down, very brave but I'm sure you'll get there in the end.

If it makes you feel any better, try changing the heater fan with all that stuff still there, seriously not fun!
