Pre registered new car lease - 12 month service - when?
Discussion
Hi all
Just pushed the button on a 12 month lease deal. Car will have been registered end of this month with delivery to me end of april.
I’ll have it for 12 months.
Service interval i believe is 12 months or 15000 miles.
I’m assuming that the date is going to be counting from the date of registration i.e. the 12 month service is going to fall due at 11 months for me. That correct?
Obviously i can hand back early and pay half months lease charge rather than the service (£200 a month) so £100 almost certainly less than the service albeit then i have to replace it so have new car cost as well.
Just wondered if anyone knew how this would run in reality? Whether i can start the clock somehow from the point of it being delivered?
Car is a 2019 mercedes a class
Cheers

A-Class is 12 months or 15,500 miles (if the extra 500 makes a difference to you). I never considered Mercedes wouldn't do a "long-life" service (usually 24 months or 18000-20000 miles) so it's going to cost me an extra service compared to my previous car.
I just went with their monthly plan, which takes out the stress and is cheaper overall. It also includes a loan car, which is chargeable otherwise.
Don't assume you can return early for 50% payments. My last company (Arval) wanted 100%.

A180d amg line auto. Posted it in lease deals thread yesterday with approval of the company then as they started to get calls from people reading it they asked me to remove as they have a bunch of ads booked for Monday when the deal launches (I got lucky with the timing of my call chasing another deal) and they didn’t want their to be none left.
They’ve asked me to repost for Monday which I’ll do with full details. Think 2-3 people got in on the deal in the short time my post was up!
