SMART cosmetic cover VS bodywork once in a while

Hi everyone,

I used to get SMART cover directly from the dealer when buying a new car, and even used it once (with good result, but, you know, no long scratches across two panels...).

As I am buying another brand new vehicle, I've been shopping around to find cheaper similar insurances from third parties, and eventually for additional Alloy wheels covers too.

I am now thinking, is it good to pay for a SMART insurance, or is it more convenient (financially and time wise) to go somewhere like PaintChip (which I never used) or other types of body shop?
