Can’t see where else to put this thread but have many of you got 3 kids? How has life changed with the 3rd child?
Missus has found out she’s 5-6 weeks with our 3rd we don’t know what we want seems a miracle she got pregnant in the first place, condom split morning after pill didn’t work, our other 2 are 6 and 3 one at school the other at pre school and going upto school in September.
Did life dramatically change with 3 kids or not? Other thing that’s a little selfish I suppose but my gti will probably have to go for something more family orientated
So yeah who’s got 3 how’s it going

We also had an unplanned third. In our case, he made it through the pill.

Everything gets massively more expensive, holidays and things are all planned around families with two kids, your vehicular choices become far more limited and the little buggers outnumber you!
Going from no kids to having one is, of course, a huge upheaval for anyone. Having a second in our case had only a little extra impact, but the third was almost as hard as having the first one again.

It is a massive shock our house is kind of big enough (4 bed) well 3 and a smaller room
Cars: my golf gti pp is on pcp but I will have about 6k equity if I sell and I was looking at buying a S-max for family duties! I get a 500 car allowance from work so I could get a decent car for me as well
Atm we are enjoying having our sleep back and space been able to have a small quick hatchback and we’ve just done Florida in the last 12 month which we want to again but worried that the cost would simply screw us and eventually we would have to buy a bigger house as the box room ain’t the biggest, luckily I’ve just got a decent pay rise BUT we were looking forward to that and it will then get swallowed up by a third baby,
Just a massive stressful decision, both of our families think it’s far too much to take on and would upset the dynamic we currently have and enjoy but I feel guilty as it’s a life at the end of the day

Nah.. you'll barely notice the third. 
Mine are all pretty much grown up now, 26, 23, 20. I can rememeber wondering how much upheaval the thrid was going to be as the first had been such an impact, the second a little more so. But the third, well by then you're pretty much into the swing of it so it's not so a biggie compared to the first two, just another 3 years of buying nappies really.

Life wont change car wise we looked at s max etc and couldn't reduce myself to a mini van so we have a mk2 focus st 5dr, harness seat in middle seat then 2 carry seats up to 12 months, then a brilliant invention called a multi mac will take over 3 child seats across 1 rear bench... screw a s max

We’ve got three. It’s awesome, kids always have someone to play with etc. Very different dynamic to two.
Ours were closer together than yours though and they’re now 10 12 and 14, so we’re through all the early stage stuff.
We’ve got an xc90 for ferrying everyone around, seems to work well. For holidays, we don’t use hotels anymore but just hire villas. That works really well for us.

It's not the actual kids that take the space, it's all the crap that goes with them!

Lol, a double buggy and 3 little bags at most, I find too many parents pack sh#t they don't need most of the time, if you only bring stuff you need and quit living in a world of what if's it actually works suprisingly well, take our 3 old she has her own little rucksack in with toys/lunch etc and no push chair in the boot so literally one small bag at the moment... its easy It's not the actual kids that take the space, it's all the crap that goes with them!

You'll also presumably have checked that you can fit three child seats side by side in the back seat until they're old enough to use the triple seat thingy? I couldn't in the back of an MG ZT, even though it could take three adults with no problem.

Yes, one of the first things we bought was a double buggy, one to get rid of the cost early on and two to check if I could actually keep the focus
I know what you are saying regarding toys, I am probably under exaderating with toys etc just try and stay strict on what you actually want to bring out for a day trip etc.
