Sign writing - Faded Red paint

Hi,

I have just bought my old company car, which had sign writing. I have removed them but the paint is very slightly faded and the writing is still visible from certain angles.

What could I use to restore the paint? G3 or G10?

It will want machine polishing with G3 or similar.....but even then it may still show.

You need to find out if it's clear over base, it's likely to be so and if it is you'll have to live with it.

If I am rubbing G3 on it and it's not turning red... This is suggesting it's clear over base - Yes?

By hand?

Guess you have already washed, tar remover and clayed?

If by hand I would get a German Applicator (tri colour) as they have a hard/soft side.

Or borrow a DA with pads from someone, ask on DW for a local to help.

It looks like its clear over base - I suspect only option is a paint job or replacement panels (boot and front doors)
