E89 zed4 roof operation

[tonymor]

The roof on my e89 works perfectly with engine running it doesn't work from key opening option. Any ideas?

It doesn't sound like you've got the convenience pack (think that's the name!) - includes folding mirrors and a couple other bits, mines the same and won't action off the key, however another one I tried with the folding and tilting to park side mirrors did open on a long press of the key.

Not sure if this is something you can code using a 3rd party tool like Carly - or if it has a separate ecu module, may be worth heading over to a specific z4 forum to get some more detail
