Best children’s savings account long term

Hi all,
Does anyone have any thoughts on what the best savings account for children is at the moment?
He’s only 3 months old at the moment and would be looking at putting about 250-300 in it per month up until he’s 16/18.
Initial thoughts were a junior s&s isa but I’m not very familiar with chirdrens savings rules.
