Dear mods please see title before you get the jitters.

Ok so l am not a fan of the Brunei regime (see recent press for even more reasons not to be).

So merely as a thought experiment how would it be possible to ‘liberate’ say two - let’s not be greedy - (ok 3) of his F1’s?

I’ll check it out - agreed it would be a mad caper.

I have an idea that we hack the modems on his F1’s - causing the cars to exhibit mechanicals and then we turn up in McLaren overalls, voila!

If you’re going down this route then surely you have to liberate the whole company from its majority shareholder - the sovereign wealth fund of Bahrain. The human rights situation in Bahrain is far worse than it is in Brunei.

Does that character actually have 3 F1's?

If he does, as bad as that dump's record on human rights is, he bought them and they are his. If you want to liberate them from him, you would have to hit him where it hurts...... the wallet. I believe they are a one trick pony. It's all oil money. The idea would be to make the west energy independent from the robe wearing folks and starve them. Then he'll need to unload the trinkets.

This is exactly what we have done in the US. In less than 2 years, our private sector has made us the largest producer of oil and gas in the world. We are energy independent and a net exporter of energy. If the west does that, you'll liberate more than just the F1's.
