Rattle when accelerating

Hi all,

A quick question.

This is my first automatic car. So I am still getting used to the delay in gear shifts when accelerating...
However, when i try to put my foot down to accelerate i hear a small rattle from the dashboard/engine area. Don't know whether it is normal also. Only happens when i am accelerating hard. Only lasts for a a 2-3 seconds.

Any thoughts?


Nime is a BMW X3 X drive 20d M Sport, 3 months old, 1500 miles on the clock.

Probably the injectors if it is anything like many as despite being under multiple layers of insulation they are not actually far away...
