Alloy Road bike suggestions

Hi, as per the title I am after recommendations on an alloy road bike as the frame on my trusty 2013 Allez Elite has became bent due to an epic wheel/rear mech failure.....

I am hoping to keep the budget down to less than 1000 if possible with the following criteria:

- Decent groupset so Tiagra or 105..
- Alloy frame is sufficient as occasionally take my daughter in her hamax seat out so carbon probably not a wise choice

So far I have been looking at the Canyon Endurance AL models, Rose Bikes SL (although a bit wary of the direct sales after service possibly) and the Cannondale Synapse.

Does anyone have any comments on the above possibilities and the service that Canyon/rose offer? Also what else should I consider?

I have the equivalent from 2015. Full 105 and you can go into a shop and test ride a bike before buying. It's my first road bike and I've been happy with it overall. There is an Evans in Aberdeen.

Yeah I spotted the BTWIN one too its a lot of bike for the money although the sizes in stock currently are not suitable (I'm about 5ft 10)

Without wishing to be a massive bell end, have you considered replacing the rear mech hanger and getting a new rear mech/wheel..?

Or is the frame too far gone?

Already done all of that It became clear that the frame was bent when put all back together that it was fecked, LBS also checked for me with the jig and advised me it was unsafe

I've had a Canyon Endurace AL7 for a couple of years now and can't fault it.

Another shout for the Giant Contend. I have a 2016 Aluminium Defy 1, which it took over from, and it rides very light. The Contend SL1 with 105 drivetrain for £999 isn't the cheapest option but it is still good value and a lovely bike.

I think I have narrowed it down after being in my lbs to either the cannondale synapse Al disc and the giant contend 1 sl disc both of which I can get bang on budget

Synapse is a mechanical and the giant hydraulic anyone have experience on the above bikes in disc form?

Ive been commuting on a disc equipped Synapse for the last 10 months and it's been great, had to get the brakes set up by LBS but since then no issues at all.

Afraid I don't have any experience of hydraulic discs on a road bike to compare it to but much better in the wet than rim brakes although not as good as my MTB on hydraulic brakes but that might be to do with much bigger tyres on the MTB so maybe not a fair comparison.
