The car (a hotwire injection 400se) is going great, but it doesn't idle very well. It hunts slowly and stalls from time to time. Judging by whats coming out of the tailpipe I'd say it's way too rich at idle, but just about perfect from 1200rpm up.
Is there away to adjust the amount of air at idle?
I seem to remember that theres a thingy I should turn, but that may be just false memory syndrome

All replies gratefully considered

Evening Gent,

There will be a plug on the throttle housing. Under neath it is a screw which allows more air to bypass the throttle blade. Is this a new event? Maybe the vac hose has come off the regulator.

Boosted.

Thanks Mike
I'll look into it and let you know.
Just thought it might be one of those wedge quirks!

Sorted!
Quarter turn on the screw thingy was all it took.
Sweet as a nut now!
