Yes exactly as above I intend to mention it when mine goes in for a new header tank and sensor at the end of the month, by the way involves taking the engine out confused

Yes, I need both tears replaced as they have tiny cracks in them. I asked for them to be checked when it went in for 20k service.

I asked how it would have happened but no one could hazard a guess..

Still waiting to see if Porsche will cover under warranty.

I will be pretty miffed if they don’t because the cracks - due to the location deffo haven’t been caused by stone chips.

Yes I have same issue, mine is booked into to be replaced under warranty.

I have also had this a few times in past on a 981 and a 997.2.

Porsche seem to change them under warranty as long as the moisture is beads and not mist so my service advisor told me previously.

Thanks Scmed It would appear nothing to be concerned about - though I probably will mention it to OPC next time I am there.

All depends on the individual dealership, some change them, some don't, I have had 12 successes and an equal amount of refusals...

I seem to recall the owner's manual says this is "normal"

So my rear lights are to be replaced.

Porsche wouldn’t cover them under warranty - however between Porsche uk and my opc they have worked out a very palatable price for replacement.
