Save some cash, get something crazy, a Late tuscan mk3

You could chance a mp12c spider, risky but I think could be bottoming out....

I've had similar thoughts recently, in the end I actually went with a cheaper tuscan and keep the aston. #1st world problems, eh?

If you don’t want depreciation, don’t spend £85k. Hire something from time to time. Anything else will likely have £570 tax, insurance, service costs, all before depreciation...

I'd recommend an early Aston DB9 or the Continental GTC, but at that price you're right in the middle of the depreciation curve. I would cut losses and have a cheaper one that is near the bottom of the depreciation curve, at around £30-35k.

Most of these cars mentioned are far from modern, still depreciating rapidly and will cost an arm and a leg to run.

Didnt know you could get a manual F430 for £85k!! I thought these were over £100k last time i checked.

Both the Gallardo LP and F430 have been around the £80-90k price for a while from what i have seen so perhaps they are settled there and most likely not to depreciate much but this is all crystal ball stuff!

You could get a manual R8 v10 for about £60k (one for sale in Oxfordshire at the mo'); as it's the manual rather than the auto it should hold its value better.

I don't think any of the modern cars will be depreciation proof but depreciate slowly is a more of a realistic proposition.
