RS6 2014- what do I need to know
Discussion
Looking to get in the drivers seat of one of these.
Whilst I will look to get one with FASH, what do I need to be aware of, or look out for?
I am aware it was an expensive car new, so will have bills in accordance to it's original sale price, but keen to hear from those in the know with ownership experience of what I should be aware of.
Thank you!

Buy with good specification - styling pack, sunroof, 21s; things like parking and assistance packs are nice too.
A 2014 is right before the facelift that does look a lot newer and attracts cheap tax as a pleasant bonus (spend the saving on petrol!).
The 21s can buckle and the internet will tell you horror stories about this. They can be fixed quite easily if you manage to buckle one badly enough to cause an issue.
The front discs will last >30k and are ~1300 quid.
Tyres are tyres. Car is fast and heavy. Fill in the blanks.
Quite a few get modified (although they're ballistic as standard).
They can be serviced on 20k mile intervals (but I wouldn't do that myself). Oil in the rear diff every 40k too. Other than that it's just spark plugs and filters, nothing too scary on routine servicing.
Engine and box are proving strong.
Good cars, quality has proved excellent so far.

Great car. I would go facelift if budget allows (2015 model).
20s - standard wheels - are lighter and much stronger (forged), but not quite as aggressive looking.
Some cars had issues with DRC / dampers knocking but Audi fixed with revised designs.
I loved mine. Great mix of luxury and grunt, and surprisingly nimble for such a big thing. Just don't expect a sports car. I would avoid re-mapped ones.

In case it’s useful information I’ve just sold my two owner 2014 Estoril blue RS6 with 25k miles. It had every extra including an Akrapovic exhaust, ceramic brakes, 21” wheels, HUD, carbon interior, 700bhp upgrade, pano roof, B&O stereo, warranty to June, and the rest.
WBAC bid £38k, a specialist dealer bid £44k and an enthusiast bought it for £51k vs an advertised £52k price.
